Our VOLUNTEERS make our clinic
At Auskick, we are all volunteers.
This is how Auskick works. We are all parents and somewhere along the way our kids got involved in Auskick. For our clinic to survive and grow, we need the next generation of parents to get involved in one way or another.
Each clinic requires parent helpers. This works well with the kids as they get to see Mum and Dad (even grandparents, brothers, sisters, guardians or any other relation) involved with their interests. You don't need to know how to play the game, Auskick is about providing the skills to the kids to go on to playing the game.
If you think this is good and you want to continue on, we hold Level 0 Courses which shows you the entry level skills to teach Auskick. The only cost to you is about 1 hour of your time.
Once we draw you in (I mean tempt you), to become a coach, the AFL have a Level 1 course that will allow you to coach up to U12's junior football. Of course you can remain only as an Auskick coach but it does allow you to get involved in junior football if that is where your kids go.
It is very rewarding to be involved with seeing the kids develop from such a young age, improving their motor skills, hand eye co-ordination right through to the required skills to play AFL football.
If you think you can help us out, please feel free to discuss this with any of the coaches at the clinic.
